Pentax SMC A 24-50 F4

Anybody know anything about this lens? Couldn't find anything using the "search" and there are no reviews in the lens database.

Already been there, all he has are specs. I want to know what the lens is like. Is it sharp? any problems? vignetting? flare? PF? CA? i.e What's it like using it?

Unfortunately, the pic has been deleted, but the comment seems to indicate somebody thinks its a sharp lens.

If you do a web search for "SPLOS-SMC Pentax Lenses and other stuff database" you'll find a pdf document with a pretty extensive list of lenses with a rating for most of them. Don't know exactly the methodology used to come up with the "ratings" but it might come in handy when researching older PK glass, even if it's somewhat out of date in terms of price info and such. His rating for the 24-50 SMC-A F4 is "-," which supposedly means it's "OK, not particularly notable."
