Great glass on the cheap

A little bored as it is almost 90 degrees and I don't feel like getting out of the house. I just thought that I would post a photo of my glass, to show maybe some new folks what you can get for pretty much nothing. What you see is all of my lenses, except for the one I shot it with, Auto Sears 28mm F/2.8. Everything in the photo I purchased for a grand total of ........ Actually, mid typing, I was curious as to see if anyone wants to guess how much I spent on my glass?

Back row is a K 55/1.8, Super Tak 50/1.4, M 50/4 macro, M 50/1.7 and a Super Tak 200/4. Bottom row is a DFA 100/3.5 macro, Super Tak 55/2, Zebra Auto Tak 55/1.8 and a Auto Tak 105/2.8. My little hint is that I bought my Sears Auto 28/2.8 for $5 bucks at goodwill.

Anyway, I just wanted to show some folks what wonderful glass you can get for next to nothing and be completely happy. I would like the 50-135 and the 77 limited, but not on my budget.

That is the beauty of the Pentax system . To be able to use such old/ great glass on new cameras!
*did you mean the D-FA 100mm f/2.8?
If you are, I am guessing for $1200

Good stuff.

I'm looking for some more lenses. Aside from the FA 77mm, which I hope to find in silver, and probably the Sigma 70-200 2.8 (because my 135 isn't enough reach at baseball games), I'm thinking about a macro lens and a wide angle.

My mistake, it's the FA 100 3.5 macro, not the DFA 2.8. I know that this may hurt, but all the lenses on that table cost me a whopping total of $84. $89 with the Sears Auto 28mm 2.8 that I took the photo with.

I'm not sure how true it is, but I think a lot of photographers are out taking pictures now, so the summer is a good time to look for deals. In the winter, everyone is huddled around their computer trying to keep warm and bidding on eBay.
