Power Zoom lens on a K10d

Will the older PENTAX SMC FA 28-105 power zoom lens work on a K10d?

I don't believe that the camera supports all of the features this lens offers but it will supply the power to the lens zoom motor and so does work to some degree.

Yes, in both "classic manual" zoom mode and in "power zoom" mode (tested one two weeks ago with my K10D) ...

Cheers

but the best feature does not. Image size tracking

this is one thing that was of interest. frame the shot and keep the image framed as it moves towards you.
