It looks like I have a problem with my lens, it gets stuck when I try to brig it back in frim being fully extended. I have to unmount it from the camera body in order to get it to fully retract. Man, its just not my week.

man do i feel for you. it sounds like you may have a problem with the aperture lever on the base of the lens. ck it and see if it's bent or misaligned. it's about the only thing inside the lens that can rattle. also hold it so it can't rattle and see if the lens still rattles. try it in different positions.

the ??? about using ETs with a macro lens. here's a shot with 63mm ETs and a 2x TC. instead of 1:1 it's around 3-4:1

Hey guys,
First post here. I just got one of these from the same seller today. Thought I'd post some pics I took with it. I'm no "pro" so take these for what they are... The quarter is the only one that is 1:1. The baby's hand is my new son(born April 23)!

Should I be putting in the real focal length or the 1.5x focal length for the shake reduction on a K10D? Sorry if this is covered in the manual, I probably missed it.

Set the focal length to the actual length. The focal length doesn't change with the smaller sensor, the 1.5x factor is an expression of the equivalent length on 35mm film cameras, but the actual FL is the same.
