I suppose they do, hence why the DA limited lenses are so small because they rely on the motor in the camera body. When Pentax decided to make small cameras they stuck to small, it's nice to see that trend lives on in this age.

it looks to me like they are bucking the trend somewhat with the DA* 55. thats a big mother.

Nothing gets smaller than the slr in my avatar unless I replace the 70mm with an 18mm.
