I don't make my lenses, but I had a pair of Rottweilers named Leica and Rollei, and a little mongrel dog named Zenit.
A B&W tom cat named T-Max rounded out the menagerie.

only name I ever give mine is "You Bastard" when I miss a shot. Usually reserved for the DA*16-50mm and it's (shall we say) "unique" focusing qualities.
I was going to post a similar post, but without spending a lot of time, I cant think of 19 varients, one for each lens I may occasionally call a piece of $#!+

That's great. A couple of decades ago I had a cat I named Zeiss.

In the 80s, I had a pair of Weimys named Zeiss and Alpa. I had no idea that this was common among photog buffs. I admit that I got the idea from the names of the dobermans on Magnum PI, Zeus and Apollo. The only photogrphic equipment that a gave a name is my Lady K.

Hey guys, I'm sorry, you need to get out more or alternatively stay in more, I'm not sure which one would work the best in these cases.

OK.... getting a little creepy here. But then again, an insaine man once said, "I'm not insaine, you're just too normal to understand my reality."

One of my local camera stores has an employee who named his son Canon.

I kid you not.

There, you can all feel a little better now.

Incidentally, I've named two lenses: Dunkie and Fungal-50.

I do name them individually for a different character in my gear.

Thanks,
