LBA first shots - A*135/1.8

Just got this lens two days ago ( and my new ME SE too ):

Took some quick shots with it on K-7, all wide open in JPG:

I think I'm gonna have a lot fun with this new baby

Frank I hate you!

Looks like a fine lens, Nice sharpness wide open.

I'd pay big bucks to have this in a DA* lens.

What a sharp lens!
Beautiful colours and amazing detail.
A rareity too - I've not seen one pop up for a while now...
Enjoy!

This is one of my dream 'would love to have' lenses. DA* version would be something to really add to the Pentax system.

Great pictures that really show off how good this lens is. Amazingly sharp wide open!

Well, I don't hate you Frank.
Oh, and by the way, can I have your lens, please?

I still hate the fact that Frank's Bokina wasn't sold to me... not that I had the money anyway

Nice lens and congrats on the acquisition Frank

Thanks Denis。 I'm sure you'd have chance to give it a try someday It's a great lens, one of the best I've ever had, and I've had quite some good ones ...

Sure. If you come to Singapore, I can show you around our city, and my lenses too

Sorry Andi. The Bokina was a great lens. But I couldn't keep all the good lenses I have. Keeping the A100/2.8 macro mostly because it's an A lens, and it's a Pentax

Oh yeah, and I'd swap my A*135 for the DA* 135 in no time

Frank,

How has the purple fringing been behaving? Any chance you could compare PFing when used on a K10D and K-7?

Oh, and I hate you too
