You don’t see one of these for sale everyday. It only weights 8kg or 17lb 10oz, a perfect “walkabout” lens!

Same here, I’d love to see what you could focus on with a 2000mm lens!!
The largest I have is a 400mm, I can only imagine a lens with five times the focal length.

Remember when I made a post saying I had picked up an F* 250-600mm? Well, turns out that getting it istead of the 600mm/F4 prime was a good idea! You're rarely out in the 600mm end, and the lens is almost too heavy to have any practical use to begin with (unless you bring along the 15-point tripod).

The Reflex 2000 is a very unique lens. It can be a super pain to focus in all but the best light. Also the tripod had better be as steady as a tree trunk.
I sold mine about 3 months ago and don't miss it.

It looks like your zoom is another one of those light weight lenses! I suppose if you had the
2000mm it would not be used very much, due to the fixed FL and size. The 1000mm reflex looks like a better bet size wise at least, I was also looking at the K135-600 zoom.

I have the MTO 1000mm, everything considered it's not to bad.
It's not that heavy but it can be a PITA to focus if the lighting is meh.

These are from about 50ft (Jpegs right out of my K100DS)
