Can you get an adapter to put a 645 lens onto a DSLR?If so,has anyone out there tried this out and do these lenses take a better quality photo than the K mount lenses?I'm just curious!!!

Yes such an adapter exist. Theres no point in doing it unless you already own 645 lenses. The lenses do not give better image qulaity as a rule. Medium format lenses are often not as sharp as the best K-mount lenses (they don't have to be), but there are exceptions.

Yes there were adapters made to mount 67 or 645 lens onto K bodies. They are not delisted at Pentax but none has been made for a while due to low demand. Excellent condition ones are going for around $200 USD on ebay and the reputable online used equipment vendors.

Even with my extensive collection of 645 optics there are only two that I use, the FA300/4 EDIF and the 120/4 Macro. The 300 is just as sharp as the 35mm and DA counterpart and the 120 is just as good as the 100 giving up 20mm and one stop.

All the others given the lost of auto aperture, focusing, field of view and increase in size and bulk are not worth considering.

I have the 645 A 120/4 Macro and have been looking at this:

Pentax 645 645N lens adapter to PK K-7 K20D K200D K100D - eBay (item 380129022201 end time Aug-03-09 08:23:45 PDT)

Don't knowabout Pentax's own adapters...
