Congrats! It's a truly stellar lens! Used mine extensively yesterday and had a blast!

Looking forward to your first pics!

I would recommend B+W Pro.

Where did you ordered it from?

I reside in St-Albert, next to Edmonton if you don't know.

Hi Dennis from St. Albert I am Dave from Sherwood Park so yeah we are pretty close. I ordered it from Camera Canada - Canada's dot.com for Cameras - London, Ontario based on another Canadian members recommendation (sorry I don't have the name off the top of my head). It is really hard to find any Pentax lenses in stock in the greater Edmonton area.

The experience was great. The manager Joe was a little slower than I like on Email replies (I understand, busy) but they have a toll free number that I called and spoke to Cher (I think) and then Joe. I was looking at a few different options and Joe was very honest and helpfull with all my questions.

Once I made up my mind I ordered online. The lens was out of stock , so I had to wait about 10 days before they got it. You get confirmation emails when the order has been placed , when the item gets in (assuming out of stock) , and when it is shipped (along with a tracking number). xpress-post here was 3 days to my door.

The total cost (taxes / delivery / etc ) was $566.63 Cdn (that included an unkown to me $30.00 rebate) . No issues, friendly people highly recommended .

I really enjoy your washing machine pic! It really is nifty how there are so many creative photographic subjects right at home!
