You guys that have a Rokinon 85 f1.4 got a deal !

They are nowhere to be found, and the Bower is $100.00 more. The price of a C and N mounted Rokinon 85mm f1.4 is ~$250.00.

$250.00 works for me for an off brand, although a good lens, $350.00 is way on the high side, IMHO.

I purchased one from Cameta a few months ago and it also works great with 1.7x Pentax AF adapter.

Aside from the video, do you have any still images with the Rokinon?

That is a slick little setup.... I wonder if you can take the glass out of the TC and just use it for the AF option?

Shouldn't work. It shift the lenses/groups in the TC to get focus, while the lenses in the manual lens is in fixed positions. So no lenses in the TC = no way to focus.

That, and it will become a very expensive extension tube.

Just got off EBay. The Rokinon 85 1.4 is on its' way. I've been looking for a good 85 1.4 for indoor shots of my grandkids but there is no way that I can afford $1200 for the real Pentax deal. After reading this post (and a number of others) I decided to pull the plug and get one of these.
