Holy crapping crap!! This shot is one of the best shots I've ever seen on here. PP may be a little over the top, but it's still amazing.

Oh yes. That is wonderful photo. Wide angle usage to the by capturing THE MASSES attending the game and the atmosphere showing the huge scale of the event.

Wow, thanks to everyone for the comments on the stadium photo...I'm humbled. I guess I always felt I liked it more because it's my hometown football team. I think all of the shots on here are great...and to jsherman, I'm not sure how you do it, but all of your pictures (on this post and others) have a very certain "look" that I can't describe (but I really like). They're saturated, but not artificially, just very crisp and colorful.

Taken within the Chora Church in Istanbul, Turkey.
K20D, 14mm, F5.6, 1/8s, ISO 640

Absolutely loved this lens (rented) - probably my most used lens while on vacation and would love to add it to my meager collection.

Do you mind if a not-very-good, but enthusiastic amateur shares a couple with this lens? I've had such fun with this lens, ever since I got it.

It brings such a different perspective on things.

Ben, it is one of my favs also ..

But would love a very wide 11-16 f2.8.

I find I use wides for much of my fun stuff.

Well, I can't say that the spiral staircase photo seems very "amateur" to me. I really like the composition and the lighting balance in this shot. And tack-sharp focus to boot. Well done!
