Will it or Not Sigma?

Forgive me if this has been addressed but Im in the market for a Sigma 100-300 f/4 lens and as far as I know there is no HSM version yet.I have found a cheap price in Oz, but before I commit with the cash I need to know if a HSM version is just around the corner

I haven't heard anything but I don't think it would matter much. My 100-300 is as fast as my 70-200 HSM. At least I think it is, no real testing. Anyway, what if they changed the optical formula on the new version, no gaurantee it would be as great as this version.

I couldn't find an HSM version, and I never saw any planned date for an HSM version on the website.

It was just a thought,as the results that I have seen on the screw drive f/4 have been spectacular on some versions,anyway I almost got a price that I am happy with so should be ordering it in the coming weeks
