elicar 90mm f/2.5 macro

hi there im fairly new to this and i bought the above lens at a bootsale for two pounds!! wen i came home and tried to fit it to my minolta dynax 300 si it didnt fit. does any1 please have any information as wat i can do to make this lens fit my camera. thankyou.

Well, it would help to know what camera the lens was made to fit. Are there any markings (camera name, initials, or abbreviations) on the face of the lens' mount? If possible, you might also get a digital photograph of the mount and post it here for our expert's examination.
