From my perspective, the DA*60-250, as good as it is, is not a viable option. Not long enough for wildlife and not enough DOF for portrait. I personally decided to go with the DA*50-135 for portraits and added the DA*200 for indoor sports and landscape. I also use the DA*200 with a AF 1.7X TC (becomes a 340mm f/4.5) for wildlife and birding with great results. If you are really want the best for wildlife and birds, go with the DA*300. However, if you need more flexibility, the DA*200 alone or in combination with the 1.7X TC is a good choice. Remember, a 200mm can be extended to 300mm or more, but a 300 cannot become a 200mm.
