This one?

I assume you're talking about the manual focus one. I had one briefly. It was my first macro lens and worked well, but I sold it when I bought my Vivitar 105mm. Seems to me they usually go for about $100. Apart from the Raynox 150 or 250 add-ons I don't think there's much else in that price range. The auto exposure connectivity might enable you to use P-TTL flashes, which could be helpful. If you're fine with that focal length and the working distances that come with it, it's a reasonable choice. Somebody once said that there are no truly terrible macro lenses.

That's the one. The one in the first picture is for some other mount, but it's all I could find. Yours is like the one I had. Do you already have it, or are you thinking of buying?

i could 'pick' one up for about 140 bucks, u.s. dollars....
the only other macro i have is the pentax 100mm f3.5, not bad, but not 1:1...
has the smc coating, but a noisy little bugger, and even with manual focus, ain't the
easiest to use...
what do you think?
thanks and regards, dave m....

I bought this very lens in the marketplace, about 2 months ago. Paid about $100 for it. Hasn't come off the camera since. IQ is great, altough it does need a lot of light for close-up macros. Maybe a ringflash? I'm working on a DIY one i saw posted somewhere here... Anyways, its a great lens, if you need pictures, i'll post some (i'm not a very good photographer though )
Good luck!!
