Chinon 50 1,9

Thougt i might join in on the fun!

My first attempts with this lens that my mother used in the 80's.
Exif is in the pics. Have problems with my computer so im shooting Jpeg for the moment wich is actually fun with the K-7. So no serious PP done here.

Super Tak 55mm f/1.8, hyperfocal was too far to catch this one sharply, but I still kind of like it:

I posted this in the M-Club, but since it is a 50, I thought I could post it here too. This is a close up of gold braid.

M50/1.4 using 20mm extension tube. This is gold braid.

I also took some shots with my M Macro 50/4 which I expected to give better results... but I think I got better results with the 50/1.4

Anyone know anything about the Yashinon DX M42 f/1.4 50mm lens?

the swede, Chinon looks cool as well as the JPG-output of the K7.

Rense, all three shots fantastic imo.

Here's two fifties being brothers in arms:

Zeiss Contax Planar AE 1.4/50 f/2? on K100D. Cropped and contrast.

Yashica ML 1.4/50 2nd version on K100D. Full open no crop no PP.

These two behave very similar and the Yashica may be just a clone of the Zeiss. Full open has already brutal contrast and at f/2.8 you have full thrust. Just another type of lens I
have to learn to use properly I guess. They're clearly on the waiting list for low light stage stuff.
Best, Georg
