Shot 2 nights ago, fog rolled in really heavy off the coast all the way inland. I'm 15 miles from the water.

Super Takumar 55mm f/1.8, near wide-open.

Low res for web jpg is killing me on these...

Auto Takumar 55mm f/2.2 at f/2.2:

Auto Takumar 55mm f/2.2 at f/2.2:

It's got kinda funky bokeh on OOF highlights. Little bit trippy, which I dig.

Super Takumar 55mm f/1.8 with at least 100mm of extension tubes at f/16. It's the end of a small pomegranite.

Fixcinater, nics shots and the bokeh looks quite distinct. I've had a look at my fave Takumar pages once again
about your Auto Tak 55/2.2. Looks like the same 6-in-5 design as the Auto/Super/S-M-C/SMC Tak 2.0/55 and 1.8/55.
Maybe your coating works even better for portraits (and bokeh) than the modern versions.

Don't know about the Fixcinater's Fujinon, but why shouldn't it be just in the same vein as the Taks.
The blue tree looks perfect btw !

Coming back to Legacy's A 50/1.4, that lenses' optics is very similar to the aforementioned 55/x lenses with an added
back element, making it a 7-in-6 design. Very similar to the original Zeiss Planar 50/1.4 design and also the Yashica
ML 1.4/50 and whatnot.

Here's that Contax Zeiss Planar AE 1.4/50 once more - definitely worth some time spending with this lens. For me it's
like learning to shave with a razor blade and not getting cut - I prefer electric shaving btw .-)

...on K100D, f/2 maybe, no PP, no crop, polarizer

...on K100D, f/1.4, no PP, no crop, ISO800, 1/15 sec. handheld, tungsten JPG

Best, Georg (the other)
