I spend 350+ for a new Tamron 28-75 SP AF XR Di 2.8 lens, and there's one on your favorite auction site right now at 103.50 + shipping. Life just ain't fair.

Yeah, well, keep an eye on that auction -- by the time it ends, it'll be higher. In case you haven't been lurking here much, you can often find that lens second hand in the pentaxforums marketplace. That's where I got mine.

Fantastic lens -- a bargain at $350. Get out and shoot!

It's worth every cent - so don't fret - buying it new gives you the added bonus of warranty...
There have been bigger lost opportunities - and yours ain't so bad anyway.
Just go out there and enjoy your new lens - it really is a great set of glassware.

I've never seen that lens end at under 250$ ever. It's usually around 270 and up. Buying new is worth it for this since you sometimes have to play the roulette. I think you made a wise choice. It's a great lens and probably my favourite out of my collection. Cheers
