Any SMC FA 50mm f/2 or f/1.7 made??

I would like to replace my "A" 50mm f/2 with a similar AF version..
Did Pentax make a an FA 50mm slower than f/1.4?

FA 50mm f/2 or f/1.8 or f/1.7 ??? before the Digital age came of age?
Hopefully under $100.00 used

F and FA f/1.7 exist. I don't think an f/2 exist though.

FA 1.7 is the same price as the 1.4 version since it's quite rare, and the 1.7 being sharper compared to its 1.4 version is still true on this lens.

F 1.7 on the other hand is quite common and indeed usually runs around 100$, but I've never seen it go for under that unless it has issues (broken filter ring is common on this lens). F 1.4 is even rarer than FA 1.7 and The ones I've seen are usually expensive since some seem to regard it as being better than the more common FA 1.4

Is the "F" series also AF?

yes. the F series was the first line of AF Pentax lenses. and as far as I know, the F and FA's are optically identical.

The FA50 f/1.7 is at times more sought after than the f/1.4 so don't expect much $ saving.
