@Utik, those are wonderful photos.
It's a good thing, I can look without wanting to buy, knowing that there's almost nothing in the wallet after the K20D purchase yesterday.

But let's see two months from now. This may be my cup of tea. People pictures, yeah!

I posted these somewhere else, but I'll put them here also. Loving this lens. I shot a wedding yesterday with it as well...worked great!

Thanks, I knew the originally came out as screw drive, but for some reason I thought they were updated to HSM.

I believe the Sigma 30mm is now HSM... atleast according to Amazon.com and their product info.

Amazon.com: Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM Lens for Pentax and Samsung Digital SLR Cameras: Electronics

Sorry, no HSM for Pentax. Screw drive only.

My copy focuses fast anyway - for a screwdrive lens.

Ops...

Yeah, now HSM. It's misleading since the lens is marketed in general as having HSM, but the Sigma page says no HSM for the Pentax versions.

Here are a couple of photos I took using the Sigma 30mm...Pretty sharp IMO.

A couple of my Samyang 85mm 1.4 - for sale currently

and one from Saturday night.
