Anyone has the Zeiss 100mm f2 Makro-Planar.

Would love to see some images. It is wickedly sharp from f2 as can be seen in this review

Carl Zeiss Makro Planar T 100mm f/2.0 ZF Lens Review

It is only a 1:2 macro, but to me the f2 (speed) and rendering is primary and being a macro is a secondary benefit. So, seems like an ideal fast lens to fill the gap between my 77 and 135.

Most likely I will never get one, due to the crazy price and MF, but nevertheless, would love to see some images the forum members have taken, and what they think of this lens for non-macro work.

Zeiss lenses look absolutely beautiful, and from what I read on Photozone they are incredibly sharp from their widest aperture.

i drool over that one from time to time along with the fast 85mm they have. bump for seeing some shots from it

this lens only does 1:2 magnification...not 1:1 which a lot of the sigma,tamron,tonkina macro lenses are capable of.and you lose speed as the focusing distance gets closer so the f/2 would most likely become a f/4.5 at max magnification.

It's massively overpriced considering it can't do 1:1 natively. personally If I was buying a macro lens it would be either the Voigtlander 125mm f/2.5 Or a pentax 200mm f/4 ED
