Sigma or tamron 18-200 zooms

I'm going travelling for 3 months and was wondering which lens to take as i have limited space, i've owned the Tamron and found the results ok but the Sigma is supposed to have better sharpness and CA control. One of my experiences with the Tamron was it seemed poorly sealed to the elements (i know you get what you pay for), has anyone got any experience with the Sigma 18-200 non OS

Thanks

Do you have both already?
As I don't have them, but have Tokina 24-200mm. It has much better build (AT-X series lens), mostly metal, it is larger and faster AF. According to reviews image is generally better then Sigma 18-200. But my manual Vivitar beat this lens easily.
As I know best zoom is this focal range is 18-250mm one.
