Pentax 6x7 Outer Bayonet to Pentax-K adapter

I have bought great SMC Takumar 6x7 400/4 lens, it has outer bayonet 6x7 mount. I would use it with K-7. Please havenīt you seen any such adapter?

I have inner bayonet 6x7 to Pentax K adapter.

I know there is one possibility, use 6x7 TC, which has on one side outer and inner bayonet (both) and at other side, I think, only inner bayonet
But I will loose f4 aperture :-/

Yes, You have not understand my question.

I will explain:

Pentax 67 has dual bayonet mount - inner and outer bayonet.

Lenses to 300mm has classical inner bayonet

Lenses from 400mm has outer bayonet.

And I have SMC Takumar 6x7 400/4, which has outer bayonet and I would like to use it with K-7. So I need different adapter.

The Pentax 6x7 K-mount adapter works with both inner and outer 6x7 Pentax lenses. I had the 400mm F4 6x7 lens that I also used on my LX body and still use the adapter with my other 6x7 lenses.

Thak You very much, Jogiba! You just rocks!
And does have this adapter also tripod mount?
If not, how about using heavy 6x7 lenses without it on tripod?

And what do You think about this adapter?
It seems that it also has outer and inner bayonet:

And what about Your experiences with 6x7 400/4 lens?
Was it good in direct sunlight?
You are not using it anymore?

Thanx for Your reply

Therion, the link I provide above for the 67 adapter says it works on All Pentax 6x7 67, 67 II system lenses. Also, it comes with the tri-pod mount. I use a 67 adapter to K-mount which has the tri-pod mount. I would not want to be without the tri-pod mount. If you have questions concerning its utility, you can contact the seller.

This one is only for the inner-bayonet lenses. You can see the difference between the original Pentax adapter and the 3rd-party one.

That adapter looks to have both the outer and inner 6x7 mount also. The 400mm F4 Pentax 6x7 lens has a tripod mount . I sold my 6x7 400mm F4 lens to Adorama along with two 6x7 bodies and other 6x7 lenses from 35mm fisheye up back in 1991. I still have one 6x7 Pentax body and four 6x7 lenses but have not used film since 2001.

Here is an old photo taken in the late 80's with my 400mm 6x7 F4 lens and Kodachrome 64 120 film 1/1000 sec @ F4.

Hey, that's my 67M*400/4 in the lower photo...lifted from the lens reviews...the little item near the mount end is a drop-in circular polarizer with external wheel to rotate the polarizer while it's inside the lens.

That particular lens is an inner bayonet lens rather than the outer bayonet used in Takamar teles for the 67 system. In fact, just this week I attached a Fotodiox 67 to K mount adapter to that lens. And the Fotodiox does not accommodate outer bayonet mounts.

I have just bought a Takumar 600mm f1:4 from Hong Kong for my 67II and I am open for any hints.
It is a great lens, has a few disadvantages but for me it is worth the money I gave.
I do not (yet) use extensions, but the rear filter is problematic. If you use the wrong Filter in the Adapter-Ring, you won't come to
Infinite position. But what is the "right" Filter? Where can I get one? What sort of Filters did exist?
And I'm looking for outer Bayonet Adapters, e.g. for 645D or Canon DSLR for this lens...

You may want to hit up the folks in the medium format section of the forum for some more accurate information.

The Genuine Pentax adapter is probably the best thing since they are typically compatible. Fotodiox is another company that makes a lot of adapters and most likely has the ones you want. @desertscape seems like the best one to answer the questions you have, most of the posts I read from him sound like a different language to me so that must mean that there is a lot of sound information contained therein!
