With k20d: better 50 1,7 or 50 1,4 FA ?

I wish to know if it is better the pentax 50 1,7 F or the 50 1,4 FA. I have readden that with digital camera is better the 50 1,7, some opinions?

The prevailing opinion seems to be that the f/1.7 versions of the 50mm lenses are all sharper than the f/1.4 lenses up to around f/2, at which point they become more or less equal. The main advantage of the f/1.4 versions - aside from being half a stop faster, of course - would be that some like their bokeh better.

Matter of preference.
Seeing the sharpness difference between the two may need the most stringent of pixelpeeping.
If you don't ever need the extra half stop of light, it probably won't make any difference which one you go with, but otherwise, the decision's a no brainer.
