In praise of the DA*16-50 + pics

I bought the DA*16-50 a few months back for my trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. I was a bit nervous with all the bad press it had received, but it would just be so useful ?

Well it was and I am very pleased with the results. If you don't want to travel with a bag full of primes I can recommend it.

Here are a few I took with it.

Excellent series. This is one of my favorite places. I bought my DA*16-50 earlier this year in advance of my trip to Death Valley. I too had read the bad reviews but apparently this was early on last year. It is my best lens and I continue to get great images with it. So...enjoy this fine piece of glass.

I'm in really big pains. I'm wondering which lens should I buy next.
I got 50-135 and I like the quality. So I'm looking for DA*.
It seems I'll decide between 55mm and 16-50mm.
This thread didn't help 'cause I was leaning towards 55mm =D
