Replacement Lens Cap for Da 70mm

Just wondering what you all do for a lens cap for the DA 70. I have a fear of losing the (nice) metal lens cap that comes with the limiteds and wondered if anyone has something that would fit nicely to the lens hood so that I can store the metal one safely.

Rondec,

I have a DA 70/2.4 and I share your concern about losing the lens cap. I just make it a point to be extra careful when using this lens. So far so good. I don't think there is a cap that would fit over the retractable lens hood.

The thing I have lost is that plastic protector which covers the flash mount on the top of the camera. Those little things were made to be lost. It cost me $7.00 CDN to get another one. What a rip! Can't be 2 cents worth of plastic in it.

Yes, I had hoped when I got it, that I could just put a 49 mm pinch cap on the hood, but that doesn't seem to be an option, as the hood opening is a couple of mm smaller.
