My new love...I call her Viv(itar).

I received my Vivitar 2.8/28MM CF PK this week from David.(ISO50 and highly recommended if I may add.)
We are still in the courtship phase and getting to know her, but I think I am in love. She does have her moods, but capable of being so sweet......

Here are the first results:

I love the spider web shot.
It's kind of sad but the courtship is usually the most exciting phase... unless you dug up a diamond

Eye was so busy posting my 'I' shot, I forgot to mention...

Love the spider web shot... and the succulents are poppin' in #3

I used the 28 on the last sf meet up and got some nice shots of SF and the GG Bridge...

Excellent buy. Take it from me, don't ever sell it. (I made that mistake, but found another.)

This is one of the few lenses that actually surpasses the hype around it. It's still not as well known as it should be, IMO.

That spiderweb shot is unreal! Awesome!

Gus, that eye pic is also amazing - one could almost say menacingly sharp!

Yes it is quite good... These samples from the K02.

In fact, I like it so much that I got myself another copy of this gem from the bay tonight, with the A "setting".

Martin, Great shots! I am glad the lens is in good hand and you sure took better images than I could when I had it.

Ah, those are pretty nice lenses. results speak for themselves. I've had one of those in Canon FD for ages, (poor thing took a spill shooting a scholastic event at one point, was never quite right afterwards, but they're well-regarded. )
