Hi,

I'm trying to complete my traveling kit and been looking at a few wide angle zoom lens such as the :

sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 ? (least expensive, the extra 2mm on the wide end)
sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 (new, unknown, fairly expensive)
sigma 12-24mm (I can get it for less than 450$)
pentax 12-24mm (the most expensive option)

and i can hope - a pentax version of the tokina 11-16mm f2.8

I have the pentax 16-50mm and the 10-17mm fisheye on a K10. I guess I would use it mostly for quick and dirty street photography, and some landscapes.

I am leaning towards the first option (hoping for that tokina, it's fairly cheap and starts off at 10mm). But I would like the sage wisdom of these boards on which one would complement best my kit ?

Well, I can tell you that I just received a Samsung 12-24 from a trade with another member. It is the rebranded version of the Pentax 12-24 f4 lens. The fact that it's a constant apetature lens is very very nice and while it may cost a bit more than the sigma version, I can already tell that it will become a very favorite lens of mine. (I too have the 10-17, 16-50, and DA 21 limited). What is really amazing is how it doesn't bend lines. so far indoors or outdoors it just very cool.
