new sigma 50-200 compared to pentax 50-200mm

Has anyone compared the new Sigma 50- 200 to the Pentax version. I am considering the purchase of a new lens, and would like to know if anyone has any experience with these two lenses? Is the price difference merit the purchase of the Sigma?

Thanks

If you're looking at this type of lens, you may also want to consider the Tamron 18-200. It's only an additional $80 right now after rebate and could replace both kit zooms. Supposed to be pretty respectable performance for it's class. You only give up OS (not needed on Pentax anyway) and HSM.
