MF M42 on a DSLR Question..

Sorry if this is worn out topic

When using a M42 Pentax brand lens on a DSLR, I put the A/M on "M" and just us as Stop down lens? Nothing else to do right? Other than focus wide open first though.

Pretty much.

You can also use the switch to go from wide open focusing and stopped down metering/shooting.

you can also use the M42 lenses in AV mode....you will have to dial in some exposure correction, but once you dial it in, just shoot to your hearts content.
