I'm in the market for something in the range of 28-300 for some upcoming motorsports events and was looking into the Sigma 28-300 f/3.5-6.3 DG Macro AF. I'll be trackside, standing on the inside of a turn and would like to be able to shoot the cars/bikes as they are approaching from a distance, up close, and as they are exiting the corner. Something in this range seems perfect. There's no way im pulling it off with the kit lens, lol.
There's
no reviews over the lens, and was just curious if anyone does actually have the lens? If so, what are your opinions on it? Image quality?
I've read the
mixed reviews on bhphoto, but am still unsure which way to go with them. Some praise it like it's the best, while some say it's the worst.
Any feedback, personal reviews, or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
