I have seen those adapters. They would be of only limited use to me as the IX don't have an aperture ring and it works electronicly. The default on these lenses has the aperture blades fully stopped down at f/22. If they were wide open I might consider it. By grinding off 1/16 inch piece of plastic the lenses can be used on D200 or D300 or so it is claimed. They have the older mechanical AF so they won't work on the cheaper D40's as AF lenses.
