Tilt/Shift and Shift lens

I'm currently thinking seriously about a tilt/shift lens. I hired a shift lens a few weekends ago, and enjoyed the experience. However, on the basis I might as well "be hung for a sheep as a lamb", I've upgraded my thinking to tilt/shift.

Have any of you had experience with such lenses? In particular, has anyone tried the Hartblei superrotator? Now I know that's a 645 lens, but they also make K-mount lenses.

A shift lens has been on my list since the mid 70s and will probably remain on the list even after I'm dead.

Never had one but always wanted one. The effects can be duplicated in software but I don't think the results would be the same. Besides, I couldn't afford one.
