Turtle, I know, that'd have been awesome for that night's event. I had the FA50 on me since I didn't want to carry my backpack and more gear with me to that concert. I can't complain about the quality of those pics with the pop-up flash. If you want more examples of the Sigma 20-40, please PM me your personal email address and I can send you some more from more recent outings (non-event), but indoor gettogethers and whatnot. If you are on Facebook, look for my name and I can add you so you can see even more pics, as I took my Sigma with me to a recent Railroad Fair and utilized the close focus capabilities and the wide angle side of this great lens.

I vote 20-40.
I have both but in nikon mount. 20-40 is amazing , sharp from 2,8 and razor sharp from f4.the build quality is pro and has IF.The lens is suplied with 2 asphricals and at last is a full fram with fixed aperture .
I love the colore rendering of this lens and the bokeh.
