Here are a few shots with my Vivitar 400mm F5.6 TX mount, it isn't a Series 1, but not a bad lens at all. The moon shots were shot with an el cheapo 2X teleconverter.

I took a look for that lens in the store display, and didn't see it.
Although it may still be there, things are a little disorganized at the moment
If things aren't too busy on Sunday (and my back feels decent) I may get a chance to work on cleaning it again.

That doesn't look like my pk mount. If the 400mm lens I have going off tomorrow sells with the nikon ai (buyer has choice) I will sell it separate. I got it NOS and was hard to find.

It doesn't look like mine either, but it does say "K/AR" on it, so I am guessing it will work...

I found that lens, with the M42 mount. It's a Vivitar 35mm f2.8, listed at $40.00.
Unless you really need the mount I honestly wouldn't buy it
It looks very well used and although I haven't tried cleaning it the elements look pretty dirty to me.
There may be a speck or 2 of fungus inside, although I wouldn't know unless I take the time to clean it..... which I don't think I will unless someone is really interested in it (sorry I have enough to do around here already)

Be careful with these vintage Vivitar K mounts on the newest K dslr. The shield around the stop down lever needs to be trimmed back to mount and have proper mirror clearance.

Thanks for looking. I'm not in a rush and can be patient until what I want turns up on eBay.

Thanks for the heads-up. I have a Vivitar 100mm manual focus macro lens and haven't noticed a problem. Does this occur on certain specific lenses?

This is not a lens model specific issue with Vivitars, My two 90-180 Macros, one needed the shield trimmed and the other did not.
