They brought a sink and water to dump on the camera fer gawds sakes...but the one thing to remember is these are not PRESSURE SEALS so don't expect it to deal with strong jets of water or deep sea diving excursions. But it should handle rain, a fast dunk if you stumble in a stream or river, and probably a lake in the shallow end anyway. Another key thing is once it is wet, don't think about changing lenses until it's dry, completely dry. Also, rinse it off with some sort of distilled/deionized water after any exposure to water, you know just to get the residue most water will leave behind, especially salts.
