APO Sigma 500MM

Recently upgraded to the K200D fromthe old ME Super, have so many old lenses that I would like to use including the 500MM, shoot mainly wildlife with the longer lenses, any suggestions on starting points, have never shot this lens with the new camera, a little stumped on settings and shooting modes, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Your 500 should work just fine on the new k200d. Use automatic aperture settings to allow the camera to control the aperture. The newer digital cameras do not have the lever to read the manual aperture settings and will expose only wide open except in manual exposure mode.
