I am not familiar with bayonet mounts, what they are and what the differences are. So with that being said, do I need this in order to use this on my K110/K10?

The "bayonet" mount simply means that the mount inserts and locks in place usually with a twist..

The "K" mount (if I'm not mistaken) is a bayonet mount and should mount to your camera without any type of adapter. The adapter that you linked to is to adapt the early "screw mount" lenses to the later "K" mount camera. Pentax cameras have utilized the "K" mount since the early 70s.

Hope that helped.

That lens will fit right on the K10,K100 etc. The screw mount lenses need the attachment in the first link of your post.
