Help identify lens and mount?

Hi, i just picked this up from a second hand store. But i didnt know that the mount wouldnt fit, i saw a K in the description and thought it will work with my k200D.

What mount is this? what kind of an adapter do i need for it? Moreover, what lens is it , is it even worth getting an adapter for it?
Thanks in advance!

Is it a Ricoh K mount lens? If it is, DO NOT try to mount it until you're sure that lens type is OK. Some Ricoh lenses can get stuck semi-permanently on Pentax bodies.

I does look like a pentax or Ricoh fit lens but it doesn't look like it has the offending pin that locks these lense onto pentax AF cameras ( I can't confirm this though - dont take my word for it). However it also looks like it has the extra large aperture lever shroud which can prevent lenses bering mounted on a camera body with power zoom / HSM power contacts (such as the K10 and K20). This can be overcome however if required (see here for instance https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/73165-mounting-issue.html)

It's an Image 28-105mm PKA/R lens. The cut out in the mount can jam the AF pin making it hard to remove the lens.
I sold those lenses in the mid/late 80s when I worked for Astral Photo. It is not a good lens by any stretch of the imagination. It probably retailed ne for less than $200.00

Well, this will fit directly to your Pentax camera, as it has the PK/A mount. However, like the previous poster mentioned, check the mount for the "Ricoh pin" first (more info: theatre of noise: Ricoh Lenses On Pentax Cameras -- The Ricoh Pin Fix).

The flange looks awfully big; I think it's smaller on genuine Pentax lenses. That's probably why it won't fit; you'd need to cut off a chunk of it.
