Hi,

I have owned the Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 135 3.5 and found it to be a wonderful lens. Is the 2.5 (ver 2 6 elements in 6 groups) an even better lens or not? Is there any consensus there?

Kristoffon: I read the reviews prior to posting. There were not many reviews and they were not all pointing in the same direction and they did not all adress version information.

I thought I might get a bit more information if I asked

2.5 ver 2 the best 135 around?
2.5 ver 2 just as good as the 3.5 at 3.5 but a little soft at 2.5?
Both of them a bit flat?
