If it is in excellent condition that one could be worth it. I got a used one for around 100 Euros (approx. 140 Canadian Dollars) here in Germany.

I have mixed feelings about this lens - yes, it's very small and portable, and shake reduction on my K10D helps using it. With SR activated you can go down to about 1/400s and still get really sharp pictures hand held. But 1/400s and f8 limits your options a bit - generally speaking!

The bokeh has those typical "mirror lens" doughnut shape and often is not nice to view. Contrast can be a bit flat, even if used with the large shade screwed on. PP helps here of course.

On the positive side tele pictures can be nice, and it focuses really close - here two hand held examples for both applications:

This one taken at 1/1000s, ISO 400:

This one at 1/640s, ISO 400:

Hope this helps a bit.

I got mine about 15 years ago in the MeSuper age.
More interesting now because it is a super telezoom.
But note that in the background you will get small circles in the photo

I'm pleased to see the Tamron Mirror Lens can take a good image. We have two mirror lenses: Quanteray 500mm f8 and Bauch&Lomb 800mm f10. Both were cheap and both are useless.

I have a couple of longer mirror lenses called telescopes. They both have adjustments for collimation, usually a must since the heavy mirror can shift with handling.

antonio,
you can eliminate the weird bokeh by creating a dupe layer, gaussian blur on it, and then use an eraser to get back to your 1st layer.

Roy

tnx for your comment: I posted the original as in the film era, with no major PP work, basically from RAW to JPEG and some USM, just to show the capability of the lens....not the ability of each of us to PP the picture!!!

Great work on my original
