You need to check it should somewhere have P/K close to the lens mount,

Having said that, even if it is a P/K mount, it will not fit without a slight modification.

The shield around the apature operating lever is too long, and needs to be modified to fit on the newer pentax lenses. there are several other threads regarding this modification. The best is a modification of a Series 1 70-210 F3.5

Wow! Flashback! That was the first lens I bought for my old Yashica TL Electro. Mine was a thread-mount version, but it was a fairly decent performer. I only got rid of it because I decided to shoot nothing but primes for a while.

that's a kiron lens, probably made in 1979. it should be a very nice performer. it has a matched 2x TC for use on it. i've got a tokina model FS now in the marketplace forum.

I hate to disagree, and perhaps you are lucky but there are a large number of reports about the long shield for the apature actuating lever, on the Vivitar, and some Ricoh P/K mounts interfering with the contact position for the power zoom, and future internal focusing motors in pentax lenses.

My 70-210 3.5 simply does not fit, and there is a previous thread in this forum describing in detail the mecessary modification.

you need to be very careful as the interference is only about 1 mm in depth.

from the photo of the lens it looks like the same problem will exist here

mount looks wrong for pentax.

the orientation of the link to the apature is in the wrong plae with relation to the mount.

This lens looks like interchangeable mount lens. Perhaps someone else can identify it
