Lens advice for the K200D

Got my K200D body last week from a forum member..
Im thinking of getting the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 on ebay
at "Matsuiyastore" but read some posts that it has a front focus
issue with the K200D. I ask the store seller about the issue with the K200D
he replied "the one in my store are no problems".
Has anyone here have the 17-50mm working with the K200D?
any advice pls?

indeed this has been discussed a lot.
i didn't quite get if it's only a minor front or back focusing issue only visible when pixel peeping (which by the way it may happen with other lenses including original pentax) or a serious issue which makes it hard to use AF with this lens.
i also don't know how do the sigma or (more expensive) pentax compare with tamron as far as front or back focusing.

Personally, if I were to replace the kit lens with another zoom, I'd go with the DA 16-45mm or if I had the funds, the DA 17-70mm. That said, I'm not to keen on zooms.

Well the tamron is constant f2.8.. 17-70mm are f4 which cost more.. im thinking about the DA 16-45 , the sigma 18-50mm 2.8 or the tamron 28-75mm 2.8
