yes..
lenses with auto focus fully function.
lenses with auto aperture and manual focus also fully function (Requiring manual focusing of course).
lenses with manual aperture rings function in M mode, and proper metering can be obtained by pressing the green button.
M42/screwmount lenses will also function, but require a screwmount-->K mount adapter - also only work in M mode.
Pentax has hands down the best backwards compatibility of any camera maker.

K and M lenses
Custom function "Using aperture ring" must be set to "2 Permitted".
In manual exposure mode "M": Set the lens to the desired aperture, compose the shot, press the green button (this will set the correct shutter speed), shoot.
