In my search for a 'bargain' 300mm+ prime, I've come across a Tamron that I just can't seem to identify through these forums. So wondered whether anyone could shed some light?
It's a Tamron 300mm/f5.6 w/- Adaptall-2 K-Mount. Now that's the easy part...
- It's not marked "SP" - so seems to rule out the 54B.
- It doesn't appear to be the CT300; because:
- This Tammy has a 62mm filter size (both others have 58mm); and marked AUTO with "EE" on the ring.
- Other details "Made in Japan" and numbered 340898.
I know photos would help, and I'll upload when I can. Meanwhile, it seems a pretty clean example at an OK price, so I'm tempted.
Can anyone help ID the model or knows of this lens?
Cheers.
