In my first year of Pentax ownership, this is approximately how much I've used each of my lenses, in percent:

DA 12-24: 25%
DA 35 Ltd: 60%
FA 50 f1.4: 15%
SMC-A 70-210 f4: 0% (just got it today)

I'd be curious to know the lens use percentage of others members over the past year.

Pentax 55-300 30 %
Pentax 50 F1.4 10 %
Pentax 10-17 Fish Eye 20 %
Pentax 18-55 Kit lens plastic mount 0 %

Looked up what I'd posted to flickr, and it looks like this:

FA 31/1.8: 25%
FA 77/1.8: 10%
DA 21/3.2: 10%

The rest is spread between 16-45, 18-55, DA15, and a slew of 50's. My LBA-on-a-budget has me cycling through lenses a lot.

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8: 30%
Borrowed long lenses (can't afford crap for long lenses even though I've shot a whole bunch with them in the past year): 20%
Rest of M42 adapted lenses, an extra 5% that is mainly testing/shots just for bokeh.

DA18-55 = 10%

and last, the M50/2 = 0.00001%

As you can tell from my lens usage, my subject matter is close up and usually in the dark, oh the joys of gig/music photography.

SMC Pentax-A 50mm F1.2 - 25%
SMC Pentax A* 85mm F1.4 - 30%
SMC Pentax-A* 135mm F1.8 - 30%
SMC Pentax A* 200mm F2.8 ED - 10%
Occasional, SMC Pentax 24mm F2.8, Pentax-A* 300mm F4 and SMC Pentax Shift 28mm F3.5. - 5%

Even the numbers add correctly first time.

I really haven’t given this a lot of thought. It varies from year to year but I suspect my lens usage would be something like this at the moment:

SMC Pentax M 400/5.6 50%
SMC Pentax K 200/2.5 25%
SMC Pentax DA 70/2.5 10%
SMC Pentax A 100/2.8 macro 5%
SMC Pentax K 24/2.8 5%
All others 5%

All others include: M 28/2.8, M 35/2, M 50/4 macro, M 50/1.4, K 135/3.4, M 150/3.5, M 200/4, K 300/4, M 75~150 zoom, M 80~20/4.5 zoom

Also never thought to calculate either total time gear is in use or time each lens is used.
But as a rough estimate, 40% DA* 16-50, 10% FA 100/2.8 macro, 10% DA 55-300, 10% DA 12-24, 10% FA 77 ltd, 10% FA 31 ltd and the rest scattered amongst the remainder of my lens kit, particularly the Tamron 70-200, DA 10-17 and FA 50/1.4.

My second favorite prime - 15%
My second favorite zoom - 10%
The rest - 15%

FA 100-300 : 20%
FA 50 macro 20%
F 50 f1,7 : 10%
M 150 f3.5 : 5% (specific situations, like weddings)

Pretty much what you'd expect.
