Just a personal note. When I first started out, I was all about the zooms. Short zooms, mid zooms, long zooms. When I would use the prime on accasion, I would hate it. It was never right for the job...What finally got me to change, was the best street pictures
where all made with short primes...So I started to force myself to use them to get closer and more personal with my subjects..Best thing I ever did, because It also forced me to be more careful about composition, because now I had to move around more to get the shot I wanted. I had to go get the shot instead of letting the shot come to me and taking it as it is..
