Pentax DA 15mm ltd, any sample shots?

Wondering if anyone here has the 15 ltd, and if so can they post some sample shots. I'm considering buying this lens in a few months. So far I have the 35mm and the 70mm. Don't see much point in getting the 21mm and the 40mm is just to close to the 35.

I've been thinking about the same thing, although i like really low light lenses and am considering the DA14mm F2.8 instead. Chunkier, but maybe more my style :P

I think there should be a few threads in this section with pics already? Maybe a little bit further down.

I agree that 2.8 would be nice, but I love how lightweight the ltd are. I'm willing to up the ISO a bit if it means lighter kit. I only walk round with my 35 ltd and 70 ltd now. So much easier. At first I thought it would mean some lost photo opportunities, but my shots have improved since. I'm probably putting more work into composure with prime lenses.

15/35/70 ltd sounds like a seriously formidable lineup. Don't make me rethink my recent purchases!!!

I wish pentax would make a 50mm 1.4 ltd lens. sure the FA one is great, but I want one with the same build quality of the ltd lenses and the DA* 55mm is a bit to big for my liking.

It's a very good lens. The 2.8 issue is size - look at the DA14 and its double the size and weight. I preferred small and light, 2.8 is only one stop anyways.

Immune to flare, very sharp from wide open, GORGEOUS metal construction that will wow any canonite used to plastic L lenses. My new favorite lens, stays on the camera almost all the time.

I'm yet to take any good shots with mine though, here are a few anyway.

I really like the go-kart picture.

I really need to control myself, :P. Can't afford to buy another lens at the moment, but I really want that 15mm ltd. Hopefully I can afford one in about 2 months. I'll probably end up getting the 21mm and the 40mm despite the fact that they won't be used as much as the others. I just love these lenses. I expect I won't be buying a new camera for a few years if this ltd LBA continues.

Just some snapshots. I had a Nikon shooter inquire about which lens for the second shot, saying he didn't have anything that would show that little distortion.

I don't own the DA 15/4, but did have the opportunity to shoot a bit with it when the K-7 tour was in Portland. My impression was that it is sharp even at f/4, has good contrast, and well-controlled distortion. The only weaknesses that I noticed were mild CA (both red/cyan and blue/yellow). If you need a well-built, ultra compact performer at this focal length, I would definitely include it on your short list.

Here are the results of a Flickr search:

There are a few other threads on this lens - might want to do a search - but also a good bunch of samples in the DA Limited Club thread.

Here's a few from this week. The last one shows you don't really need f/2.8 for a wide angle lens in low light. The still subjects are sharp, the moving ones blurry - just how I wanted it.

After seeing your shots, I call B.S. on any reviewer that says the edge sharpness isn't very good.
