What telaconverter?

I have just bought a DA70-135 f2.8 lens should be here tomorrow. The camera store wasn't sure that it would work with a telaconverter. Said that the Canicon lens will not work with similar long lenses for the canicon cameras. Will a telaconverter work with this lens? What model and where can they be purchased?

My suggestion is no
TC works best with long (over 100mm) prime lens at or faster than F2.8
Zoom with more elements/group in their optical formula does create a lot more incidence of refraction

Forget the TC. Just get a DA* 200 or 300 if you need the reach.
The Tamron 1.4x with SDM is supposedly able to function with the 50-135, but AF operation is till iffy.
